Rain showers delayed Friday’s ASCS Warrior/Midwest racing at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, MO. It was easy to tell the track would be heavy for early heat race action when the rain finally let up and the track got rolled in. Kyle started 6th in his heat race and made one pass to finish 5th. Unable to gain more passing points he had to start 14th in the A-feature. He passed 4 cars early on in the race before the first caution. He restarted 10th with 15 to go and battled to the front of the pack picking up a 5th place finish in the Smith Racing #86.
Saturday night at LA Raceway looked to be promising before a huge rain shower came through causing officials to cancel the race.
This week Kyle is on the road in true outlaw fashion competing with the ASCS National Tour for ASCS Speedweek! He travels to Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and then back to Missouri for the final stop of Speedweek. Kyle has worked hard preparing for this week and is hoping the results show!
