July 5th Kyle raced at XX Speedway in California, MO. Kyle finished 2nd in his heat missing the redraw by 1. He started 9th in the feature and worked his way towards the front bringing home a 4th place finish.
July 6th the ASCS Warrior Region made their first visit this season to Randolph County Speedway in Moberly, MO. Kyle started 2nd and finished 2nd in his heat. He made the redraw and drew a 1. From the pole position Kyle was off to the early lead until a mid race caution which lined the field back up nose-to-tail. Kyle got a good start but had Jonathan Cornell putting on the pressure. For the next few laps he and Cornell would exchange sliders before Cornell finally secured the race lead over Kyle. Through lapped traffic Kyle wasn't able to make up any ground and finished in the runner up position.
Sunday July 7th Kyle and the Smith Racing team made their final stop of weekend for a $1500 to win race at XX Speedway. Kyle advanced from the 7th starting position in his heat to finish 5th. He started 13th in the A-Main and was working hard towards a podium finish before getting taken out in the feature. With 3 to go Kyle tagged the tail of the field and salvaged at 9th place finish.
July 13th the 86 team traveled to Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, IA. Kyle's night ended suddenly when the motor let go after lap one of hot laps/time trials.
