The past two weeks for Kyle Bellm have been up and down to say the least. Saturday, May 3rd at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, the KBR #14k finished 4th in the heat race and started 15th in the feature. Kyle made his way up to 7th in the first few laps but disaster struck and ended his night when he made contact with the wall and hurt the car pretty significantly. The following night Kyle teamed up with Jack Hockett and Dave Korte in the Jesse Hockett Racing (JHR) 77 at Double X Speedway in California, Missouri. Kyle would win his heat and start the feature outside of row one. He would lead wire to wire and capture his first victory of the year.
Last weekend Kyle again teamed up with the JHR 77 at Double X Speedway. Drawing a 5 for the night, he would start front row outside for the heat race and picked up another heat race win. This would put Bellm starting outside row one for the feature. He lead every lap for the second week in a row to pick up win number 2 of 2014. Kyle would like to thank the JHR team for this opportunity and is looking forward to this Sunday where he will be back with the team again at Double X Speedway.
