Lonnie Wheatley, NIXA, Mo. (July 21, 2017) – After a pair of idle weekends, Nixa, Missouri’s Kyle Bellm and the Resource Asset Management Solutions (RAMS) No. 14k Sprint Car team fire back to action in a big way with three races this weekend.
The weekend triple for Bellm and the PPG Automotive Finishes/Colorvision team kicks off with ASCS Red River action Friday night at Creek County Speedway near Tulsa, OK. From there, action shifts back to Missouri for a pair of ASCS Warior Region events at Eldon’s Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday night and then California’s Double X Speedway on Sunday night.
“We’re looking forward to it, hopefully we can put together some podium finishes and possibly come away with at least a win or two,” Bellm commented.
The triple begins at Creek County Speedway, where Bellm drove the VP Racing Fuels/Schure Built Suspensions entry to a runner-up finish during Speedweek action last year.
“Creek County has been really up and down for us lately,” Bellm explains. “We know we’re capable of running up front there with anyone.”
The Missouri pair of events that follow in Bellm’s homeland offer up a combined $5,500 in winner’s share.
“We have been good at both of those tracks, so we should have a chance to make it a good weekend,” the driver of the Christian County Collision Repair/Bybee Lawn Care machine commented.
Bellm’s most recent action was a weekend triple to kick off the month of July that included a pair of races at Lake Ozark and one at Double X. Bellm enjoyed a win and a pair of fourth-place finishes that weekend, with the July 1 triumph at Lake Ozark his second win of the year atop the 3/8-mile Eldon clay oval and third overall victory of 2017.
Bellm and the Schaeffer Oil/Prater Designs/The Engine Heater crew look to add more hardware to the mantel this weekend.
