Lonnie Wheatley, NIXA, Mo. (June 11, 2020) – A busy weekend of racing action is on the docket for Kyle Bellm this weekend with a full set of events throughout the Show-Me State.
Bellm’s weekend will begin with an ASCS Warrior Region card at Eldon’s Lake Ozark Speedway before moving on to an ASCS Warrior vs. Mid-South Regional bout at West Plains’ Legit Speedway Park on Saturday and then rounding out the weekend with a Sprint Invaders tilt at Moberly’s Randolph County Raceway.
Bellm will be aboard the Kyle Bellm Racing No. 14e machine for the Friday and Sunday events while taking the wheel of the Jim Eubanks-owned No. 6x machine on Saturday night.
“I’m looking forward to the weekend and getting some good finishes and hopefully our first win of the year,” Bellm says. “We have a new car together so we should be ready to go in it and I’m excited about the opportunity to drive Jim’s car on Saturday night.”
Bellm’s most recent action was a pair of World of Outlaws Sprint Car events at Lake Ozark Speedway on May 29 and May 30 where Bellm raced into his second career WoO feature event in just his fifth career 410-ci Sprint Car start.
“We were respectable the first night, then we went the wrong way with our changes and struggled some the second night,” Bellm said of just his second weekend of testing World of Outlaws waters. “Overall, we feel pretty good about it considering that we have only run a half-dozen 410 races.”
It is back to 360-ci competition this weekend with Bellm looking to capture his first win of a 2020 season that is just beginning to gain traction.
The Kyle Bellm Racing efforts are made possible with support from marketing partners including Greenworks Nursery, Landscapes Awarded, Christian County Collision Repair, Bybee Lawn Care, PPG Automotive Finishes, Colorvision, Schure Built Suspensions, Schaeffers Racing Oil and Valley Park West Retirement Living.
